With bad snow conditions in Zirl you can easily reach the cross-country skiing tracks in Oberperfuss or Seefeld/Leutasch.

A romantic toboggan adventure is a part of unforgettable holidays! Within one or two hours walk you reach the Brunntal hut ... the right place to take a rest and get ready for a funny toboggan ride down to Zirl.

o        Natural toboggan runs Stieglreith/Oberperfuss
With the chair-lift from the station of the Rangger Köpfl to Stieglreith. You can choose between:
a 5 km toboggan-run or
a 11 km toboggan-run (go on for about 1,5 hours to the Roßkogelhütte)

o        Bob racing on the Olympic run in Igls/Innsbruck
An exciting descent on 5-man bobs, with an experienced pilot. Participants will be able to experience all the excitement of a competition race - with a loudspeaker commentary on each descent and the intermediate and finishing times displayed on the huge score board.

Rangger Köpfl (10 minutes by car)
Is the houseberg of the Innsbruck West holiday area and is a skiing paradise for families.
17 kilometres of slopes for levels of ability ranging from beginner to intermediate beckon skiers of every caliber.


Rosshütte und Gschwandtkopf (15 minutes by car)
The skiing resorts of Rosshütte and Gschwandtkopf are the centres of alpine skiing in the area of the Seefelder Plateau with snowmaking providing consistent skiing conditions. 

Patscherkofl (20 minutes by car)
Innsbruck´s Olympic Mountain, where the Olympic athletes competed in 1964 and 1976, is a favourite with skiers.

Nordkette (20 minutes by car)
With a 70% inclination in the terrain, gorgeous snow and slopes with a southern exposure, the Nordkette is a mecca for snowboarders. The terrain is also superb for advanced and able skiers. 

Axamer Lixum (20 minutes by car)
Axam´s Lizum, two-time Winter Olympic host (1964 and 1976), is home to gorgeous ski and snowboard terrain with optimum snow conditions guaranteed.

Kühtai (35 minutes by car)
In spring, when the Inn valley is already clad in green, the Kühtai ski resort (2.050 m and higher) has its heyday. Slopes for beginners and intermediate skiers spread on both sides of the valley.
